Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) Foundation Course with Advanced Physical Skills - Two-Day Training - 012006
This two-day renewal option offers additional skills in risk assessment and problem solving, along with facilitation strategies for teaching advanced physical interventions to staff. Participants gain a deeper understanding of the Foundation Course principles and expand their approaches for minimizing the use and duration of physical intervention. This training is a six-hour CPI refresher course. Therefore, if participants HAVE NOT taken the initial CPI training within the last calendar year, they ARE NOT eligible to participate in this refresher course.

Audiences Assistant Principals, Principals, Charter School Personnel, Counselors
Prerequisite/Special Notes Participants must have attended a 12 hour CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training within the past 12 months and have approval from their supervisor . Participants must bring their CPI Blue Card to the training.
