Participants will receive current information and updates to assist in their roles as case managers and evaluators. Through TEA updates, hearing officer decisions, and research-based content, Special Education Evaluation staff will gain tools to increase compliance, quality of students' evaluations resulting in educationally beneficial IEPs for students, knowledge in multidisciplinary evaluations (including general education teachers and parents as part of that team), and educational plans to assist in increased achievement of students served.
