Interactive Notebooks for HS Geometry Part 2: An Online Course - 012953
This online course will engage in practices to teach key math concepts through the use of interactive notebooks in order to make content-specific language accessible to all learners. The high school geometry strand includes logical arguments and construction as well as proof and congruence. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers via a digital environment, or video chat, as they implement interactive notebooks into their math classroom over the course of the fall semester. Participants will design tasks for their learners that build on students' prior knowledge, target possible misconceptions, and incorporate questioning techniques to engage students in critical thinking. The last day to enroll is November 1st and all course work should be complete by December 10, 2018. Interactive Notebooks for HS Geometry:Part 1 is a prerequisite for this course.
