Evaluating Dyslexia and Related Disorders through the Special Education Process - 013168
Using the Dyslexia Handbook along with federal and state resources, Educational Diagnosticians and Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) will gain the additional knowledge needed to identify students with dyslexia and related disorders through the Special Education Evaluation Process. Participants will engage in activities to enhance their understanding of the characteristics of dyslexia and related disorders. Participants will also engage in discussions about the current related state and federal laws. Participants will analyze case studies to practice looking for patterns of strengths and weakness that indicate dyslexia and related disorders.
