Introduction to Thinking Beyond Consequences - 013545
This training is designed to help those who work with children in the educational setting begin to understand that when we see a behavior, there is always an underlying emotion. We will look at how to recognize that behaviors are not the result of children acting out to get what they want, but instead they are acting out to get their needs met. We will also look at how to recognize possible triggers for students and how to help our students settle while dealing with things that may be difficult or out of their comfort zone. As a result of this training, educators will have a new way to look at behaviors in the classroom.
