Foundations of Early Intervention for DHH Teachers - 013596
This course is designed for Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Parent Advisors) so that each participant can direct their own learning at their own pace and to meet their individual needs. However, this course is open to anyone in early intervention working with children who are deaf/hard of hearing and professionals who want to know more about Part C services. Modules A and B will guide you through completing a self-assessment and personalized learning plan. The remainder of the course modules include the following topics: Intro to ECI, the early intervention team, newborn hearing screening, IDEA, Referrals and timelines, consent, the IFSP, coaching, adult learning theory, assessment, outcomes and strategies, transition, development if IEPs, writing the communication evaluation, and the initial ARD
