Spending Your SY 2019-2020 Entitlement: Commodity Training Class - 013638
Join us for an overview of the different options to utilize your entitlement and what is best for your district. This class is mainly for Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperatives members, but anyone is welcome. Topics addressed in this training include: 1) an overview of the USDA Foods program, 2) a review of each approved option to spend down your district's entitlement, and 3) comparisons of commodity foods versus commercially purchased foods. The training will also include a review of how to complete and submit your FDP Contract Packet in TX-UNPS and how to use the Pre-Order Worksheet in ProcessorLink (the software used for product selection for those participants planning to use some or all of their entitlement on USDA foods for further processing).
