TETN - Texas Behavior Support - Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Team Training - 013650
The mission of PBIS is to build the capacity of schools to educate all students, especially students with challenging behaviors, by adopting a sustained, positive, preventative, and effective instructional approach to school-wide discipline and behavior management. Campus teams will be provided the PBIS research-based school-wide implementation training by members of the Texas Behavior Support Network. This three-day session will be provided via TETN, and will focus on using data to identify and create guidelines for success, school-wide behavior rules, expectations, and positive reinforcement systems. The campus PBIS team will create a comprehensive action plan tailored to specific campus needs. Technical assistance during PBIS implementation will be available for the 2018-2019 school year by ESC Region 11 selected behavior team members.
