Abydos 12-Day Institute - 013895
Come experience authentic reading and writing workshop strategies in this research-based institute. Participants will read and write in a workshop environment. Each participant will receive a copy of "Acts of Teaching: How to Teach Writing" and a copy of "Poetry After Lunch" by Carroll and Wilson. Teachers will leave with knowledge and skills to implement literacy best-practices in their own workshop classrooms. Participants will receive a $300 stipend for attending the 12-Day Institute.
