Bite-Sized Summer Learning Series: Exploring the Strong Connections between Reading and Writing for Young Learners - 013997
Have two or three hours? Then come join us this summer as we offer a series of mini sessions on evidence-based strategies that will help you improve student learning. The intended outcome is that participants will increase their repertoire of learning strategies that have been shown to be effective for learners with unique learning needs.

If they can read it, they can write it. If they can write it, they can read it. In this session, teachers will see how to engage young students seamlessly in writing and reading activities at the same time. Teachers will leave the session with ideas to build up read alouds through writing and help students learn about writing by enjoying the work of masters at the craft through literature.

Audiences Counselors, Teacher - Elementary (Grades 1-5), Teacher - General Education, Teacher - Special Education, Charter School Personnel, Diagnosticians
