Bite-Sized Summer Learning Series: Community Circles - 014007
Have two or three hours? Then come join us this summer as we offer a series of mini sessions on evidence-based strategies that will help you with improve student learning. The intended outcome is that participants will increase their repertoire of learning strategies that have been shown to be effective for learners with unique learning needs.

Restorative Practices (RP) is a philosophy and system-wide intervention that places relationships at the heart of the educational experience. The goal of RP is to change the school climate rather than merely responding to student behaviors. RP fosters belonging over exclusion, social learning over discipline, and meaningful accountability over punishment. Participants will walk away with an understanding of Affective Statements, Restorative Questioning, and Respect Agreements.

Audiences Teacher - Special Education, Assistant Principals, Charter School Personnel, Paraprofessionals, Parents, Teacher - General Education
