Bite-Sized Summer Learning Series: Sensory Rooms - 014008
Have two or three hours? Then come join us this summer as we offer a series of mini sessions on evidence-based strategies that will help you improve student learning. The intended outcome is that participants will increase their repertoire of learning strategies that have been shown to be effective for learners with unique learning needs.

The purpose of a sensory room is to provide a variety of sensory input experiences in a specialized area or station that helps students calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared to return to the classroom and engage in learning activities and interacting with others.

Participants will leave the session with fundamental guidelines and ideas for creating effective sensory rooms in their schools that incorporates evidence-based strategies.
