ELAR TEKS Overview for Teachers, 5-8 - 014067
Participants will closely read and deconstruct the revised ELAR TEKS for implementation. Participants will review the current and revised TEKS and thoroughly analyze the verbs and potential outcomes. There will be a chance to practice with each strand in order to fully understand what students are asked to know and do with an emphasis on vertical alignment in grade-level bands.

Audiences Teacher - Elementary (Grades 1-5), Teacher - General Education, Teacher - Middle School (Grades 6-8), Charter School Personnel, Teacher - ESL (English as a Second Language), Teacher - Gifted Talented/Advanced Academics, Teacher - Special Education
