Bilingual/ESL Program Overview: The "Why" Behind Serving ELs & What to Expect (Online, self-paced course) - 014391
In the state of Texas, both public and charter school districts are required to provide students who have a language other than English and are identified as an English learner with an opportunity to participate in a bilingual education or ESL (English as a Second Language) program. This is a self-paced course that provides an overview of the compliance and instruction of English learners in the state of Texas. Please note: This course is open from July 1st to August 14th. Participants will not receive immediate credit upon completion of the course. Credit will be awarded every 2 weeks: 7/12, 7/26, 8/9, 8/16
