Bathing the Message in Effective Transliteration: Do Not Throw the Meaning Out with the Structural "Bathwater" (A Training for Educational Sign Language Interpreters) - 014616
Many educational sign language interpreters struggle with the true understanding of effective transliteration and believe that all meaning should be tossed to the side in order to preserve a closer alignment with English structure. The goal of this workshop is to provide applicable tools for educational interpreters so they can deliver the message in a linguistic manner and keep the key points of instruction understandable for the students.
