Essentials for a Special Education Work-Based Learning Program - Online - 005584
Career development for students receiving special education services may occur in Career & Technical Education programs or specially designed Work-Based Learning programs aligned with the TEKS. For special education Work-Based Learning programs, there are federal guidelines that must be followed. This interactive, self-paced online course will review the law, programmatic requirements, and implementation practices to increase the participants' knowledge and strengthen existing WBL programs. Participants will have one week to complete the course. It will take approximately 3-6 hours. The training is being offered by the statewide transition leadership at ESC Region 11.
