Speech Webinar Series #1: The Ethics of AAC: Providing Robust Communication for All Students - Fall 2017 - 006088
Speech-Language Pathologists are the professionals most qualified to address the complex communication needs of students who do not speak orally. However, not every SLP has the knowledge base to sufficiently assess and intervene with students who need Augmentative and Alternative Communication. This session is an ethics-based call to action so that every SLP's work embodies the principle that every student should have meaningful access to a robust communication system. SLPs who attend this session will receive basic to intermediate techniques and tools.
