Structuring the Classroom through the Use of Visual Strategies - Introduction (2-day Training) - 008019
In this two-day training, participants will focus on positive behavior support strategies that enable children with autism and other developmental disabilities to demonstrate self-control and organizational skills. Participants will have the opportunity to develop individual schedules, communication systems, work systems, and behavioral reminders to support students in the least-restrictive environment. The importance of direct instruction, routines, visual systems, and clear concrete expectations will be presented. All participants who attend the training will receive a follow-up in their classroom by ESC personnel. ***Registration fee is to cover the cost of materials
