Texas Performance Standards Project Part I: Introduction 2017-2018 - 008048
The Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) is a statewide standards and assessment system you can use to capture the high levels of achievement of gifted and talented students. The goal of the TPSP is for students to create work that reflects the professional quality that the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students requires. Students' projects are TEKS-based and focus on the core content areas of English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies with interdisciplinary connections. This training is for participants who have not been involved in TPSP but want more information and directions for implementation.
