Academic Achievement for English Language Learners (ELLs) Using the SIOP(R) Model (2-Day Session) - 008273
In today's schools, ELLs must achieve content-area knowledge and skills reflected in the TEKS while acquiring increasing English proficiency. The Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol,or SIOP(R) Model, provides teachers with research-based strategies effective with English learners as well as information on what to expect from SIOP(R) campus coaches and administrators. Recommended for campuses FULLY implementing the SIOP(R) model, this training takes place on two consecutive days. Fee includes the book Making Content Comprehensible for English Learners.
