Child Nutrition Meal Patterns (Districts & Charters Only) Professional Standards 2200 - 009313
This session will provide Child Nutrition staff operating the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs an overview of the meal pattern requirements. We will cover the basic principles of food-based menu planning for both lunch and breakfast meal patterns, as well as touch on the dietary specifications and offer versus serve. This course is being offered in Canvas (online learning module) and can be viewed at any time (approximately 1 hour) between now and April 12, 2018. At the end of the course, participants will complete a quiz. Participants will not receive official course credit until the Canvas course is closed in April.
