Playful Teaching: Gamifying Your Classroom - 011194
Join the gaming revolution and tap into your students' competitive spirits by gamifiying your classroom for a unit, a grading period, a semester, or a year. Immersed into a gamified session, participants will learn how to apply principles of gaming to any content area or elective classroom in order to provide students with TEKS-connected, embedded challenges that inspire maximum engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to create the outline of a gamified unit of study that can be augmented for use in the upcoming school year. This session is suitable for instructional coaches and teachers of all grade levels.
