Texas Lesson Study Facilitator Orientation - 011409
Are you seeking ways to re-energize and enhance your PLCs? How would your campus change if teams of teachers became reflective researchers of their own practice? Texas Lesson Study allows educators to take part in a collaborative inquiry process designed to improve learning outcomes for all students. This transformative, eye-opening approach to professional development empowers teachers by amplifying their voices and increasing collective efficacy. During this one-day session, administrators, instructional coaches, and lead teachers will learn how to facilitate a lesson study cycle. Participants will further explore the strategic steps of the Lesson Study cycle and learn some of the insider tips and pitfalls to avoid from experienced facilitators.
