Webinar - Low-Incidence Evaluations - 012354
The assessment of children and adolescents with low-incidence disorders presents unique challenges. Many of the assessment skills and tools that are used with more common presenting problems simply don't apply when working with students who have multiple disabilities and significant cognitive impairments. This webinar reviews the best practices for assessing individuals with low-emphasis disorders, with special attention to the measurement of adaptive behavior skills and non-traditional assessment methods. Participants will gain specific knowledge regarding the collection of valid and relevant data to inform decision-making teams, to make recommendations, and to link assessment data to intervention. Prior to the webinar, you will receive an email with a link to join the webinar. Please be certain that your email address in the ESC Region 11 registration system is accurate.
