Core Vocabulary - Foundation of Language and Academic Success in the Classroom - 012893
This course will address core vocabulary as it relates to assistive technology/augmentative and alternative communication (AT/AAC). The decision of vocabulary for AAC systems will either support the development of language skills that will allow for academic growth or not. This course will equip you to select vocabulary, create lesson plans utilizing core vocabulary, and teach the content. ASHA credit will be available.
