Guidance on the 1.0% Participation Rate for STAAR Alternate 2 - 014541
This session will provide guidance to districts/charter schools who are exceeding the 1% participation rate for STAAR Alternate 2. TEA Student Assessment staff will meet with district/charter school testing and special education leadership at the regional service center. Participants will be provided with information that will include a process for reviewing data specific to each LEA and region. Each district/charter school attending will receive training on five steps LEAs can take to ensure that ARD committees are making assessment decisions that result in the most appropriate assessment for each student. The intended audience for this session is LEA Directors of Special Education and Directors of Assessment/Accountability along with appropriate Region 11 staff.
