Does the term "Specially Designed Instruction" confuse you? Do you wonder what Specially Designed Instruction means? This one-day professional learning opportunity will include a morning general session that all participants will receive a comprehensive overview of what specially-designed instruction is. The afternoon will include the following breakout sessions: 1) SDI in a life-skills classroom, 2) SDI in a co-teach setting, 3) SDI in a highly structured classroom, and 4) SDI for administrators. All participants will acquire resources and strategies that will empower them to make better decisions for accommodating and modifying for special education students.
