ASD + AI: Putting the Pieces Together for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Auditory Impairment - 005644
This introductory session will focus on the components of Autism Spectrum Disorders and how ASD can affect students who have also been diagnosed with an auditory impairment. Participants will be able to define the characteristics of ASD, understand the "red flags" for possible ASD in children who are D/HH, and identify evidence-based strategies and interventions to address the behavioral, social, and communication needs of students with a dual diagnosis.
