Pathways to Independence: Parents, Transition-Aged Youth with Disabilities, and Social Security Benefits - 010666
Social Security offers many opportunities and work incentives that encourage beneficiaries to work. Parents will learn about transition-aged youth, social security benefits, and the FREE supports available to help.

This five-part webinar series will clearly demonstrate why it is important to know and understand benefits for transition-aged youth. Participants will gain a clear explanation of the various Social Security benefits, their rules, all applicable work incentives, and an understanding of how to report and track them. Tools and strategies will also be shared to assist students as they move forward in career exploration, work experience, and employment, while ensuring benefits, including health insurances, are in place.
