Standards-Based IEP Goals and Objectives - 010843
This workshop will teach participants how to write standards-based Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives in order to meet federal requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which will provide students with disabilities access to the general curriculum. In addition, standards-based goals and objectives will give students who take an alternate assessment, based on modified academic achievement standards, access to and instruction in grade-level content. Participants should bring a copy, without identifiers, of a current student's present level of academic achievement and functional performance (PLAAFP) and corresponding goals for training purposes only.
