Core-Selective (C-SEP) Workshop - 011136
Evaluators have been using the CHC theory-based assessment in moving away from the discrepancy models. Advances in both CHC Theory and in test design have led to greater efficiency in the testing process as well as improved diagnostic precision. Participants will be introduced to the principles of the C-SEP process and the basics of the process. This session will demonstrate how to identify a PSW using the C-SEP approach, yielding diagnostically useful, legally defensible information in a time-efficient manner. Training outcomes include: strengthen understanding of C-SEP and apply C-SEP method to real data to transition to a PSW model via an "out with the old, in with the new" discussion, improve data analysis (what does it say) and data interpretation (what does it mean), and finally improve competence and confidence as we transition from a mathematical approach to a PSW model.
