Legal Issues for Educational Audiologists (On-site @ ESC Region 11 Participation) - 013035
This session will provide educational audiologists with legal updates and training on the delivery of services to students who are deaf and hard of hearing in an educational setting. The morning session, presented by Jan Watson, a shareholder in the Walsh, Gallegos, Trevino, Russo, & Kyle Law Firm, will focus on legal issues related to educational audiology and will be available via livestream for those who are unable to attend in person at ESC Region 11. An application for 0.3 CEUs through the Texas Academy of Audiology has been submitted. The afternoon portion of the session will provide an opportunity for participants to network with other educational audiologists. Continuing professional education (CPE) hours will be offered during the afternoon portion of the training; however, CEUs will not.
