Changes in Motion Grade 6 Science - 013423
For sixth-graders, changes in motion requires the incorporation of many skills, including observing, describing, measuring, graphing, and calculating. Participants will work through four explorations related to changes in motion and verbally share the data collected. Groups will the collaborate to explain after each exploration and create anchor charts or other graphic representations to show understanding. Peer feedback for growth will be incorporated. Strategies embedded in the session will help teachers make the content accessible for struggling learners and English learners.
