Applications of Newton's Laws in Middle School Science - 013424
Looking at and experiencing Newton's Laws in everyday activities can give students a better understanding of what each law is really about. These experiences include the roles that potential and kinetic energy play. Session experiences will include relating potential and kinetic energy to each of Newton's Three Laws in everyday practical applications. Participants need to come dressed to be active and comfortable! Strategies embedded in the session will help teachers make content accessible for struggling learners and English Learners as well as challenging for gifted learners.

Audiences Teacher - General Education, Teacher - Middle School (Grades 6-8), Coordinators, Teacher - ESL (English as a Second Language), Teacher - Special Education, Teacher Certification Candidate, Teacher Supervisors
Prerequisite/Special Notes Please bring a devise for use within the session to access online materials and to work on classroom resources.
