LRE - Being an American: Exploring the Ideals that Unite Us - 013890
This 12-hour (2 day) institute is for secondary teachers who would like to explore material which focuses on the significance of America's founding documents and civic values as well as the contributions of great Americans who were committed to these principles and exemplified these values. The Law-Related Education scholars and consultants will guide educators through the five lessons in the curriculum. Educators will receive a copy of the "Being an American: What Unites Us" curriculum created by the Bill of Rights Institute, lunch each day, and other Law-Related Education materials that support the curriculum. This institute will take place at Aledo Learning Center: 1016 Bailey Ranch Rd, Aledo, Texas 76008.
