Collaborative Teaming for Students Who are DeafBlind: Deaf/Hard of Hearing Professionals and Visual Impairment Professionals Working Together for Student Success - 014705
Students who are deafblind have unique learning challenges and opportunities. Through this workshop, teams of participants will explore best practices in assessing, instructing, and collaborating for educational success for students who are deafblind. Teams must include a teacher of deaf/hard or hearing students and a teacher of students with visual impairments and/or certified orientation and mobility specialist (COMS). Additional members of the team may include interveners, classroom teachers, related service professionals, and families of students who are deafblind. To support implementation of strategies from this workshop, a follow-up webinar will be held.

Audiences Teacher - Special Education, Paraprofessionals, Parents
Prerequisite/Special Notes One ACVREP contact hour will be awarded for each hour of learner participation in an organized CE activity, excluding breaks, meals, poster sessions, business meetings, and social hours.
