McKinney-Vento 101 Training - 014936
The objective of the McKinney-Vento 101 training is to provide understanding of the following elements: the key components of McKinney-Vento Federal Act, the definition of homelessness, the roles and responsibilities of school districts to support students who are experiencing homelessness, key components of identifying a student as homeless, how to use a Student Residency Questionnaire, and the dispute resolution process. This training will also provide key Homeless Liaison responsibilities and will explore appropriate resources to help district liaisons and staff better serve these students and families.
